Immersive experience
A visit to AMAZE is the perfect day out with your family or friends, but also hits a deeper layer; it makes you rethink what your reality is all about. The experience is about the most important person in your life: you. During your visit, our hosts will show you the way and make you feel truly at home. The 7 stages of the maze invite you to interact with the installations, offering a different experience for everyone.
At some stages, we enable you to record your experience, so you can share it with your friends and family all over the world. What you take home from your visit is all up to you and depends on how much you open your mind. Remember; the only way out is in.
And although the show has some serious elements, towards the end we focus more on your intrinsic playfulness. Our mission is to celebrate life, which is exactly what you feel like when coming out.
An immersive audio-visual experience
AMAZE is a 3,000 square meter immersive audio-visual experience. Our labyrinth runs through an old industrial and notorious nightclub in Amsterdam’s West Port district. The first illegal raves were held here back in the day, and it now serves as a creative hub, and the home of AMAZE.
MULTIPLE STAGES/ROOMS
We invite you to take a journey from your head to your heart, and reconnect to your inner self. You’ll walk through seven different stages during your visit, each providing a unique show per stage.
Visiting AMAZE at the Elementenstraat 25
In the West Harbour area in Amsterdam magic happened in 1992. This industrial area nearby the world-famous Centre with its canals, housed a peanut roasting company. This place became the homebase for illegal raves by Multigroove. The creators of AMAZE where not only visitors in that time, but also deeply inspired by the ambiance and legendary evenings.
Nowadays, this inspiration made the creators of AMAZE (ID&T), not only rebuild the location to AMAZE, but also house their entire office in the complex. The multifunctional building now houses AMAZE, offices and studios.
